Rollers & Bowlers, Haninge

Rollers & Bowlers is a 50s diner themed sportsbar and restaurant located in Haninge Centrum (south of Stockholm). They also have different activities such as a small roller rink with rental skates, helmets and safety gear, bowling lanes, pool tables and so on. During day time, it's mostly a family place with a lot of kids running around, but they serve alcohol (though no cash payment, only credit cards or Swish). The food is mostly diner inspired with hamburgers and such, but they also have shawarma and some simpler à la carte. Water is free and readily available. The milkshakes are good.

The actual roller rink is quite small, but adequate, with hardwood floor, disco lights and music. The walls are decorated with 50s themed movie stars. The floor is quite dirty, and there is no staff on-site to look after it. Old chewing gums are stuck to the floor and it's dusty (which makes it quite slippery, but in a fun way). When we visited, there were a lot of kids running around, both on and off skates, on the floor, some of them as young as toddlers, which made it a bit more challenging to skate.

When you pay, you get access to skates and a helmet, and can then proceed to chose safety gear yourself from a box (not sorted, so it's a bit of a mess). We didn't try the rental skates, but they looked clean and the wheels looked a bit gummy, so they should be good for beginners.

2 out of 5 The floor is OK, but it's dirty and unorganized. Great potential though, and in the right company, you can have a great time here! A good place to take your kids for a little bit of exercise and fun for the whole family.
